Victor Ngumah is a Nigerian business expert, politician, and philanthropist. Mr Victor is the chief executive officer of Lumen media and he has won the 2018 City People Magazine award for Media or Showbiz Personality of the year and the 2019 Peace Achievers award for Peace Builder of the year and an Award of Excellence in Community Development and Leadership Skills. This man is an epitome of hardwork, humility, philanthropy, discipline, focus and commitment. All these skills have greatly rubbed off on his business, Lumen Media.
Mr Victor is a native of Ezinihitte Mbaise in Imo State, Nigeria. He attended Mater Ecclesiae Seminary, Mbaise in Imo State for his secondary school education, one of the best schools in Imo before finally proceeding to Radford University College Ghana where he bagged his degree in ICT i.e Information and Communication Technology. His knowledge of ICT has really impacted his business as Lumen Media is not just any media company but one of the best, always delivering top-notch quality services every time.
In the year 2019, Ngumah contested in the 2019 Nigeria general election to be a representative of Ezinihitte Mbaise state constituency in the Imo state house of assembly using the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Even though he did not win, he did not let that deter him from being actively involved in politics because immediately after the election, he made his opinion known for the amendment of the Nigerian electoral act. He was clearly not in support of everything in the act. Shortly after that time, On July 10 2019, he was declared one of the directors of SBOC Energy Services.
He is a man that believes in giving back to the people and society so he started Victor for Victory Global Foundation (VVGF) to help discover and promote young talents and to look after less privileged persons. Even in 2018, he founded “Operation Get Your Sight Back” for people with eye issues. In this event, he gave out several corrective eye glasses for people with one eye defect or the other. The best part about all these is that he is just in his late thirties and his favorite quote is that of Mahatma Gandhi which says “You have to be the change you want to see”.
